Beyond the newly blossomed flowers, the misty fog, and the tiny dewdrops of rain, there was a fairy. She was a petite and delicate fairy that longed for a companion. This fairy had only  one wish, which was, to have a friend. She could not go on any longer living alone, so she decided to go on an adventure in search of a buddy.

She pranced from leaf to leaf, as she began to enter the human realm. Nervously, the little fairy took her first step onto a road of bustling people. They continued their doings, not noticing the magical creature. She decided to leap up to one of these unknown humans in hopes of becoming their new best friend.

Gracefully, the brave fairy landed on top of an old man's shoulder. As she began to speak the man simply coughed and she blew away, without him even noticing. "How rude!" the little fairy pouted, and then continued on her journey. Her next attempt did not go so well either as a little girl began to scream at the astonishment of seeing such a beautiful creature. After a couple more unseccesful tries, th fairy decided to go home.

The next moring, the fairy set out again to find a friend. This time she searched throughout the streets looking for more friedly people, rather than the grouchy ones she encountered the day before. Suddenly she came across a poor boy sitting on a sidewalk. The boy was small with a welcoming smile so she began to walk toward him.

                "Hello," the fairy said.

                "Hi," the boy responed sweetly.

"Will you be my friend?" The fairy asked politely.

"Well ofcourse I will." The answerd while his face glowed with happiness.

"This is wonderful! I've never had a friend before. Have you?"

"Well no, I haven't." The boys voice softened, "but now i do!"

"Yes," the fairy said happily. And the boy walked with the smiling fairy sat in his hands.

From that day on, the boy and the fairy were the best of friends. they did everything together. And never again would the fairy be alone for she now had the most wonderful friend imaginable.
